Setting the Time

1.
Press the "MENU" button.
2.
The display should show "SET TIME." Press the "ENTER" button.
3.
The display will show "SETTING HOUR." Press the "UP" or "DOWN" buttons to set the hour
then press the "RIGHT" button to toggle to setting the minutes. After setting the minutes press
"ENTER."
4.
Press the "MENU" button to save the settings and exit the menu.

Setting the Alarm

1.
Press the "MENU" button.
2.
Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows until the display says "SET ALARM 1." Press the "ENTER"
button.
3.
The display will show "SETTING HOUR." Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows until the correct
hour is set. Note the "AM" and "PM" icons in the upper left corner of the LCD.
4.
After you have selected your hour, press the "RIGHT" arrow to toggle to "SETTING MINUTE."
Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows until the correct minutes are set. Press the "ENTER" button.
5.
Now you have the option of choosing whether you want this alarm to be "ON" or "OFF." Press
the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows until you get your desired selection. Press the "ENTER" button.
6.
If you only want to have one alarm set then press the "MENU" button to save your settings and
exit the menu. If you want to set the 2nd alarm then press the "DOWN" arrow until you get to
the "SET ALARM 2" option.
7.
Follow the same instructions for setting ALARM 2 as you did for ALARM 1.
8.
Slide the "ALARM" switch on the right side of the radio to the "ON" position to make your alarms
active.

Choosing the Alarm Type

1.
Press the "MENU" button.
2.
Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows until the display says "ALARM TYPE." Press the "ENTER"
button.
3.
Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows to select either wake to "RADIO" or wake to "BUZZER." If
you select wake to "RADIO," the alarm will come on to the last radio station tuned to on the AM/
FM band. After you have made your selection press the "ENTER" button.
4.
Press the "MENU" button to save your settings and exit the menu.

Setting the Weather Channel

1.
To find the weather channel for your area go to www.nws.noaa.gov.nwr/coverage/station_
listing.html
on page 2 of this Owner's Manual.
2.
Press the "MENU" button.
3.
Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows until the display says "SET CHANNEL." Press the "ENTER"
button.
4.
Press the "UP" or "DOWN" arrows to scroll to your desired weather channel.
5.
Once you have selected your weather channel press the "ENTER" button.
6.
Press the "MENU" button to save your settings and exit the menu.

Turning the Weather Radio On and Off

When you exit the menu the weather radio will automatically turn on. If you want to turn it off press
and hold the "WEATHER/HAZARD" button until the "NOAA" icon disappears on the display. You will
not be able to listen to the weather radio or receive any alerts with the weather radio turned off. To
turn the weather radio on press and hold the "WEATHER/HAZARD" button until the "NOAA" icon
appears on the display.

Listening to the Weather Radio

If your weather radio is on and you have selected the correct weather channel as instructed in
the "Setting the Weather Channel" section, you can listen to the weather radio by pressing the
"WEATHER/HAZARD" button above the display. To mute the weather radio press the "WEATHER/
HAZARD" button a 2nd time.
