MECHANICAL ADJUSTMENT PRESSER BAR HEIGHT AND ALIGNMENT When the presser foot is raised, the clearance between the presser foot and the needle plate should be 6.0 mm. When the presser foot is lowered, the edge of the foot and the feed dog window on the needle plate should be parallel.
