7.11 Network settings

An IP address can either be automatically assigned to the unit or it can
be configured manually . The automatic IP address assignment is preset .
To manually set an IP address for the unit:
1) Call up the menu item "Hardware Configure Network Settings" .
2) Click "Configure Network Manually" .
3) Enter the desired IP address .
4) Enter the desired subnet mask .
5) Click "OK" to confirm .
To automatically assign an IP address to the unit:
1) Call up the menu item "Hardware Configure Network Settings" .
2) Click "Configure Network Automatically" .
3) Click "OK" to confirm .

7.12 Protecting the unit with a PIN code

A PIN code can be used to protect the unit against unauthorized
access: Call up the menu item "Hardware Set PIN" and enter a
four-digit number . This number must always be entered to make a
connection to the unit .
When the PIN code "0000" is entered, the PIN protection will be
deactivated .
