1.0 Introducing the EFTPOS 1i Terminal What this guide will cover This user guide will tell you all you need to know about the EFTPOS 1i terminal. As you read you’ll become familiar with the terminal and feel comfortable operating it using this as a guide.

3G/GPRS backup communications. Terminal setup and configuration To begin setting up your new EFTPOS 1i terminal: 1. Ensure the terminal base is connected to power. 2. Ensure the terminal base is connected to your Point of Sale (POS) via a supported communications method.
Terminal configuration Once the EFTPOS 1i terminal is connected, the Merchant ID and Terminal ID will need to be entered into the PC-EFTPOS EFT Client. This is done via the Control Panel Your POS Vendor or PC EFTPOS support desk may be able to assist you if required.
