With
the disk drive
Power
switch
in
the
"Off"
position,
plug
one
end
of
the
power
adapter
into
the port
marked "Power"
on
the
back
of
the disk
drive.
Plug the other
end
of
the
power
adapter
into
a
wall outlet or
power
strip.
Warning:
When
setting
up your computer
system, place your
disk
drive
at
least
12 inches from your
monitor.
Monitors emit a
magnetic
field
that
can
damage
information stored
on
disks.

Insert
the
end
of
the
mouse
cable
into
Mouse/Joystick
port
0 on
the side panel
of
the
ST
Computer.
Be
sure
to insert
the plug
correctly.
The
plug
is
larger at
the top
and
will
fit
into
the
socket
in
only
one
way.
Once
inserted,
the
mouse
can be
moved
around
while
still
attached
to
the
computer.
