The replacement switch must be connected to a machine on the network
containing:
• a new software-release file and
• the running-config file from the failed ARX.
If the replacement switch is running a release earlier than 6.0.0, the
interview script connects the switch to your OOB management network
only. If you are running 6.0.0 or later or if your ARX release files and
running-config files are accessible through the OOB network, you can skip
this section. These steps are required for systems that need to access the
client/server network.
