• SFP Cable Connection The Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) port is a compact, hot-pluggable transceiver. (HySecurity does not supply this transceiver.) Supported fiber channel types include: SX (up to 2.5Gb/s), LX, EX, ZX, EZX, BX, XD, SFSW, CWDM, and DWDM.
Belden 9841 or equivalent is recommended. The connector can handle wire gauges from 28 -18 AWG, but HySecurity recommends 4 conductor, 2 pair twisted, shielded, 24 - 20 AWG wiring. The use of either stranded or solid core wire is acceptable.
NOTE: If the IP ADDRESS does not appear in the System Scroll, then HyNet has failed to acquire the IP Address and network settings from the LAN’s DHCP server. Consult with your IT Administrator or contact HySecurity. 9.
