    ETTING TARTED HyNet™ provides network connectivity and services to an entry or exit point employing HySecurity automatic gate operators in the following configurations: • Single-gate • Dual-gates (bi-parting single or interlocked gates) • Sally Port (interlocked gates) • Sequenced gates (interlocked gates) The HyNet uses multi-drop RS-485 to communicate with each gate operator at the entry/exit point.

    Belden 9841 or equivalent is recommended. The connector can handle wire gauges from 28 -18 AWG, but HySecurity recommends 4 conductor, 2 pair twisted, shielded, 24 - 20 AWG wiring. The use of either stranded or solid core wire is acceptable.

    NOTE: If the IP ADDRESS does not appear in the System Scroll, then HyNet has failed to acquire the IP Address and network settings from the LAN’s DHCP server. Consult with your IT Administrator or contact HySecurity. 9. When the recorded IP Address is provided to the person (IT Admin) who is finalizing the network set up, the remainder of the HyNet configuration can be accomplished through the HyNet web interface.
