Laser safety

Be sure to read and understand all instructions in this ma-
nual before using the product. All labels on your laser are
for your safety and must not be removed. Removing labels
increases the risk of exposure to laser radiation. Do not
throw this manual away.
According to the model your instrument has the corresponding warning
label.
Always make sure that any bystanders in the vincinity of use are made
aware of the dangers of looking directly into the laser. Do not stare di-
rectly at the laser beam or project it into the eyes of others, especially
with optical instruments. Serious eye injury could result. Do not point
the beam to persons or animals. Your instrument emits laser radiation
according to laser class 2 (EN 60825-1).
Be especially careful when working with a green beam rotary laser. The
instruments must only be used by persons who are familiar with laser
technique. The user must know the eff ect of the laser on skin and eye,
correct laser protection and the corresponding national safety laws.

tection or the laws in your country.
