Troubleshooting

If you experience any trouble while using this product, refer to the following
information for basic troubleshooting. If the trouble persists, contact your technical
support representative.
Charging does not
occur at all/
The indicator does not
light.
The indicator flashes in
red.
The indicator flashes in
orange.
Charging ends quickly
or does not occur at all.

R The battery is not properly inserted. Make sure it
is inserted properly (page 11).
R The AC adaptor is not connected to the power
outlet. Connect it.
R The battery charging terminals are dirty. Clean
the terminals.
R The battery may be worn out. Replace the battery
with a new one.
R The battery charging terminals are dirty. Clean
the terminals.
R Charging did not end properly or too much
voltage was detected. Remove and reinsert the
battery or the AC adaptor plug.
R Battery authentication failed because an
unsupported battery was installed. Use only
specified batteries.
R The battery may be worn out. Replace the battery
with a new one.
R The ambient temperature is too low or too high.
Place this product in the specified charging
environment.
