If a dedicated tap water supply is preferred, the water inlet hose (3/8" ID EPDM
reinforce rubber) that is attached to the back of the washer can be used to connect
to the water supply. Simply cut the hose to the desired length to remove the hose
coupler and connect to the user supplied fitting at the water source.
You may also provide your own 3/8" outside diameter tubing for connection to
the water source. Disconnect the factory-installed hose by pressing in on the collet
of the press-to-connect fitting at the back of the washer, and remove the brass
fitting by pulling out. The user supplied 3/8" OD tubing can then be inserted into
the unit's press-to-connect fitting. Attach the other end of the tubing to user
supplied tap or purified water supply. Slowly turn the water valve on.
The 3/8" OD tubing provided for the pure water connection can be inserted into
the unit's press-to-connect fitting. This tube can be cut to length and attach to the
user supplied fitting at the purified water supply. Slowly turn the water valve on.
