Before use, check that the support surface of the machinery is flat, of suitable strength and of sufficient ergonomics: for this purpose operate with the aid of a workbench. 2. Secure the workpiece. Use the vice on the machine to keep the workpiece stable. 3.

In particular, prevent the cutting wheel from becoming entangled when working on corners, sharp edges etc.. Improper use may damage the cutting wheel with cracks forming on it.

ACCESSORIES 4 DESCRIPTION OF THE MACHINE The Cut-off machine (Art. 0642) is only used for the dry cutting of metals, within the limits recommended by the Manufacturer and the safety and health norms. Other types of use, or the extension of use beyond that envisaged, does not correspond to the designation attributed by the manufacturer, and therefore the latter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage resulting therefrom.

MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 6 MACHINE SAFETY DEVICES 6.1 Electrical safety devices In the event of malfunction or breakdown, the Cut-off machine is equipped with a power cable and plug without grounding conductor, as it is equipped with double isolation. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet, the metal frame of the machine non- grounded.

9.1 Unpacking instructions The Cut-off machine (A . 0642) is supplied ready for use, supplied with an abrasive cutting disc 355 x 3.0 x 25.4 mm and packed in a cardboard box. Inside there are two hex keys and the bracket for sparks.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 9.3 Sparks deflector The machine is equipped with a sparks deflector that deviates the sparks downward avoiding contact with people or objects positioned in the rear area of the cutter. Figure 7 – Sparks deflector. It is important to respect the environment: dispose of any shavings in compliance with current legislation.
ACCESSORIES 10 OPERATION 10.1 Precautions for use Operating the machine The Cut-off machine (Art. 0642) must only be used with metals and non-flammable materials. Do not cut pieces of wood or other soft materials. Do not cut beams of dimensions exceeding the maximum permissible cutting capacity (see Technical Specifications).

Figure 10 – Mitre saw locking pin. 10.2.2 Making angled cuts 1. Loosen the rear screw, with the wrench supplied, which secure the adjustable bracket with goniometer, the fixed part of the clamp.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 11 MAINTENANCE Any maintenance, except for that specifically listed in this manual should be performed by qualified staff authorized by the manufacturer. This manual does not elaborate information on disassembly and maintenance, as these operations should always be carried out exclusively by Technical Assistance staff. Electric shock Before maintenance or checks, turn off the machine and ALWAYS unplug the plug from the power outlet.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES ERIODICALLY Every 6 months of the machine’s life, perform a thorough inspection of operation and wear. MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES To close the machine, follow the instructions in reverse. Replacement of the disc When replacing the disc, fit one with the same dimensions. Do not use reducers/adapters on the shaft Do not disassemble the inner flange. Accident NEVER use the Cut-off machine with the guards removed or partly assembled.
MACHINES AND ACCESSORIES 12 WAREHOUSE STORAGE In the event that the machine should be stored and unused for some time, it must be kept in a closed environment free of moisture to avoid damage and/or deterioration. 13 DISPOSAL OF PARTS AND MATERIALS If the machine is to be scrapped, its parts must be disposed of separately.
