26 Changing The Water and Air Filters

Your refrigerator is equipped with separate
water and air filtering systems. The
water filter system filters all dispensed
drinking water, as well as the water used
to produce ice. The air filter removes
odors and impurities from the refrigerator
compartment.
NOTE
The control panel includes controls to
monitor the status of your water and air
filters. See the Controls section for more
information.

Replacing your PureAdvantage
water filter
In general, you should change the water
filter every six months to ensure the
highest possible water quality. The Water
Filter Status light on the Touch Panel
prompts you to replace the filter after a
standard amount of water (400 gallons)
has flowed through the system.
