Installation and starting up 4.1 Battery operation You can also operate the device independently of the mains power supply with the two installed rechargeable lead gel batteries (12 V, 5 Ah). 4.2 Microphone Use only LR6 AA (1.5 V) batteries or rechargeable Ni-MH batteries (nickel metal hydride). Note the correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
