General Safety Instructions

1. This Manual shall be considered an integral part
of the machine and should be carefully looked
after for subsequent reference.
2. WARNING Read this instruction manual before
using this machine and always follow the
Safety and Maintenance instructions.
3. WARNING Operators shall be adequately
instructed on the use of this machine.
4. WARNING This machine is not suitable for
picking up hazardous dust (Contact Pacvac for
specific equipment for this use).
5. WARNING Do not use this machine in wet
conditions.
6. CAUTION This machine is for indoor use only.
7. CAUTION This machine shall be stored indoors
only.
8. Remove the machine from packaging and
ensure it and all its accessories and attachments
are present and in perfect condition. Contact
the place of purchase immediately in the event
of any discrepancies.
9. The electrical specifications of the battery
charger are noted on the data plate found on
the battery charger. Ensure the specifications
correspond to those of the mains power supply
in your area. If the battery charger is without a
data plate, contact the place of purchase
immediately.
10. This machine is intended for commercial use,
for example in hotels, schools, hospitals,
factories, shops or offices.
11. Do not restrict the vacuum cleaner's airflow.
Maintain the vacuum cleaner regularly so that
all filters and openings are free of dust, lint,
hair build-up or anything else which may affect
airflow. Refer to the safety and maintenance
instructions in the Product & Training Manual.
12. If the machine has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors or has been exposed to liquids,
return it to your local Authorised Pacvac
Service Agent for a safety check.
13. Do not use the machine to pick up flammable
or combustible liquids, such as petrol etc. and
do not use in areas where they may be present.
14. Do not vacuum anything that is burning or
smoking such as cigarettes or hot ashes.

15. Do not vacuum up hard or sharp objects such
as glass, nails, screws etc.
16. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts
of the body away from moving parts and openings.
17. Keep the machine and battery charger away
from heated surfaces.
18. Do not unplug the machine while it is turned
on. Turn the machine off, then unplug by
pulling the tab on the connector, twisting in an
anti-clockwise direction then gently pulling out
of socket.
19. Do not handle the machine, battery or battery
charger with wet hands.
20. Unplug from battery when not in use, before
servicing or before changing filters and
attachments.
21. Unplug the battery from the machine when not
in use, before servicing or before changing
filters and attachments
22. Do not pull or carry the machine by the battery
or the battery cord.
23. Regularly check the battery's power cord for
damage, such as cuts, abrasions, exposed
wiring or aging. If the power cord or plug is
damaged, the complete power cord must be
replaced by your local Authorised Pacvac
Service Agent Centre in order to avoid an
electric shock. The power cord should only be
replaced with a Pacvac Genuine Spare Part
with the same specifications.
24. Store in an appropriate place after use to
prevent tripping accidents.
25. This appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the machine by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with this machine.
26. Use only the manufacturer's recommended
attachments and/or replacement parts.
Product Specific Safety Instructions
Battery Pack
1. The battery pack contains Lithium-ion batteries.
Used battery packs should be placed in a
sealed plastic bag and disposed of safely
according to local environmental regulations.
2. Before every use, check the battery pack for
any sign of damage or leakage.
3. Only use original battery packs of correct
specification and supplied by Pacvac.
4. Do not crush or dismantle battery packs.
5. Do not heat or place the battery pack near any
heat source.
6. Do not incinerate the battery pack.
7. Do not short-circuit the battery pack.
8. Do not immerse the battery pack in any liquid.
9. Do not charge the battery pack below 0°C or
above 50°C.
10. Do not charge damaged or leaking battery packs.
11. Do not store battery packs in areas below 0°C
or above 50°C.
12. Never use non-rechargeable or non-genuine
battery packs.
13. If the battery pack is leaking, return it to your
local Authorised Pacvac Service Centre for
disposal.
14. The battery pack must be removed from the
vacuum cleaner before scrapping.
Battery Charger
1. CAUTION! To reduce the risk of injury, charge
only genuine Pacvac lithium-ion type rechargeable
batteries. Other types of batteries may burst
causing personal injury and damage.
2. Connect charger to the mains voltage
corresponding to the data plate of the charger.
3. Check main cords regularly for any sign of
damage. Do not use if damaged.
4. In case of damage to the device or cords,
return it to your local Authorised Pacvac
Service Centre.
5. Use and store charger in a dry place and do
not expose charger to moisture.
6. Do not use the charger if it is wet or in an
environment which is explosive or hazardous.
7. Do not charge battery pack below 0°C or
above 50°C.
8. Do not pull, carry or drag the charger by its
cords.
9. Do not handle the charger or the cords with
wet hands.
10. Do not pull the cord to unplug charger from
the mains. To unplug, switch off socket, grasp
the plug head and pull gently.
11. Do not cover the charger.
12. Do not open the charger. Repairs shall be
conducted by your local Authorised Pacvac
Service Centre.
13. Do not charge damaged battery packs. Before
charging, ensure battery packs are dry.
14. This device is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and/or knowledge.
