5. using the seat safety belts
The Bugaboo Gecko seat has a 5-point harness, which comprises: 2 shoulder
belts, 1 crotch belt and 2 waist belts (fastened to the frame). Use the safety belts
when the child is sitting in the seat. Prevent the child from falling out of the seat
and being injured.
Note
The Bugaboo Gecko's carrycot and frame are fitted with extra fastening rings. If required, you
can use them to attach an extra harness or extra belts (conforming to BS 6684). The fastening
rings are attached to the base of the carrycot. The waist belts with extra fastening rings are
attached to the frame.

a. Apply the brake to the chassis and place the seat on
the chassis.
b. Move the seat in the selected position and put your
child in the seat.

Pull the crotch belt forwards between the child's legs.
If the child slides down, first pass the crotch belt
through the black loop on the seat pad.

Attach the waist belts over the child's waist to the
crotch belt. Adjust the belts to the size of the child,
by pulling them tight.
