PROBLEM SOLVING:
RED Status Light comes on.
• This indicates that bottle warming cycle was not completed.
• Check water level in Water Reservoir and Warming Chamber. If it is empty, refill the
Water Reservoir and repeat steps 5 – 10. If bottle has been partially heated adjust
setting of Dial to 1 or 2.
• If this does not correct the problem, discontinue use of the unit and contact
our Customer service at 1-800-268-6237.
Bottle Warmer Unit does not turn ON when Power Button is pushed.
• Check that cord is plugged into a working outlet.
• If this does not correct the problem, discontinue use of the unit and contact
Customer service at 1-800-268-6237.
Bottle Warmer starts, but there is no Steam after a few minutes.
• Check Water Reservoir and add water as necessary.
• NOTE: Bottle Warmer Unit should shut off if no water is present and RED Status
Light will come on. If this does not happen immediately unplug the unit and contact
Customer Service at 1-800-268-6237.
Bottle contents are warmer than desired after warming.
• Allow bottle to cool before feeding child.
• Use a lower setting for your next warming of bottle with same fill level.
Bottle contents are colder than desired after warming.
• Place bottle back in warmer and re-heat at a setting of 1 on Dial. Do not allow bottle
to heat for full cycle. Test temperature of bottle contents after one minute.
• Use next highest setting for your next warming of bottle with same fill level.
Bottle has melted on the bottom from warming.
• Bottle warmer was used without the Heat Shield in bottom of warming chamber.
• It is critical that Heat Shield is always in place when using the bottle warmer. The
only time that it should be removed is for cleaning of the heating element.
Born Free Warranty Policy
Summer Infant, Inc. will repair or replace (at our option) your unit free of charge for 12 months from the date of
purchase if the unit is defective in workmanship or materials. To claim your repair/replacement, the product
must be returned to Summer Infant along with a copy of the original purchase receipt. In the absence of the
purchase receipt, the warranty will be 12 months from the date of manufacture.
This warranty does not apply to normal wear or damage from misuse, abuse, improper storage and handling,
installation, accident, unauthorized repair or alteration.
For sale and use in the USA, Canada and Mexico. The warranty is null and void if used outside its intended
territory.
