Care and Maintenance

Lifting Mechanism
Your Risedale lifting mechanism has no user serviceable parts and
does not require any routine maintenance. With proper use and
care, the lift mechanism and actuator should give you years of
reliable service.
Contact your dealer or the store you bought your Risedale from if
the lifting mechanism does not function properly.
Note: The Risedale is designed for a single user weighing less than
300 lb (136 kg). Any other use will void the warranty.
Fabric Care
The fabric on your Risedale is made from 100% Polyester.
It is important to keep your Risedale upholstery clean to ensure
longest wear and best appearance. To prevent overall soil, we
recommend frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust
and grime.
Note: Never use a stiff fiber or metal brush that could damage
the upholstery.
Fabric should be cleaned ONLY using water-based cleaning agents or
foam and lukewarm water. The fabric is shrink resistant, and run
resistant, but you should always TEST on a place that doesn't show
before using any unproven solvent – just in case.
Note: Do not remove the cushion stuffing when cleaning.
For best overall cleaning results, we recommend using a
professional furniture cleaning service.
Note: Do not use dry-cleaning solvents on your Risedale upholstery.
Direct sunlight will fade any fabric. To avoid fading, never place
your Risedale where it is exposed to the sun's direct rays.
