6 Troubleshooting
6-2-17 Micom Failure
Check the connection of signal cable.
Check H/V sync from PC or signal
generator.
Check if timing is out of spec or not.
Key check (all key) : Refer to 6-2-19.
Is 5V on IC201's Pins 11 and 34?
Yes
Are oscillation (8 MHz) on

IC202's Pins 13 and 14?
Yes
Check reset part.
Are IC202 ok?
Yes
Are H/V sync input on

If signal cable is disconnected, self raster (No Video, Bright Raster) appears.
If there is no H/V sync, monitor is operated as DPMS mode.
If out of sepc, monitor is operated as stand-by mode. (No Video, LED: 0.5 sec toggle)
14": Horizontal 30 ~ 55 kHz, Vertical 50 ~ 120 Hz
15": Horizontal 30 ~ 61 kHz, Vertical 50 ~ 120 Hz

Check and replace IC602.

Check and replace C203, C204, X201.
No
Replace it.
When disconnecting signal
