Do not change the TeleAudiology port unless requested by your network administrator. Changing the port
requires understanding your network's security policy, as well as of the details for the Windows PC running the
TeleAudiology application. Your network administrator may find the following information helpful.
The Audioscan TeleAudiology application communicates with the Verifit through the TeleAudiology network
service. The Verifit provides the TeleAudiology service works through a single TCP port. The Windows
computer running the application must be configured to access the same TCP port, which is 5950 by default.
Some Windows anti-virus software packages and some network firewalls prevent access to specific ports,
including 5950. The presence of such security measures may require changing the TeleAudiology service port
on both the Verifit, and in the Audioscan TeleAudiology application.

NOAH Service Port

Consult your Network Administrator before changing the NOAH service port. Changing the port successfully
requires understanding the security polices on your Windows PC and computer network.
The Audioscan NOAH Module communicates with the Verifit through the NOAH network service. The Verifit
provides the NOAH service on a TCP port. The Windows computer running the module must be configured to
access the same TCP port, which is 8080 by default. Some Windows anti-virus software packages and some
network firewalls prevent access to specific ports, including 8080. Using the NOAH module in the presence of
such security settings may require changing the NOAH service port on both the Verifit, and in the Audioscan
NOAH Module.
Note that changing the NOAH service port requires restarting the Verifit.
