Safety
• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the product
and its mains lead out of reach of children under the age of 8.
• The product may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or persons with a lack of experience or knowledge which could
jeopardize their safety, provided they have been instructed in the safe operation
of the product and understand the hazards involved. Never let children play with
the product.
• The product should not be taken apart or modified. Never try to open the casing.
The casing houses dangerous current-carrying non-insulated components.
Contact with these can lead to fire or electric shock.
• Do not place the product where there is a risk of it falling into water or other liquid.
Do not place any objects which contain liquid onto the product such as vases,
drinks, etc.
• The ventilation openings must not be blocked or covered. Position the product
where air can circulate freely on all sides.
• Never subject the product to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Never use the product if it, the mains lead or the plug is damaged or if the product
is not functioning properly.
• Never lay the mains lead over hot surfaces or pull it round sharp edges or corners.
• Position the mains lead in such a way that it will not be trodden on or tripped over.
• Place the product on steady level surface to prevent the risk of it tipping over.
• Do not place the product in constant sunlight or near naked flames such as wood
stoves, lit candles, etc.
• Protect your hearing. Listening on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to
permanent hearing loss.
• Unplug the product from the wall socket during thunder storms or if it is not to be
used for a long time.
• This product should only be repaired by a qualified service technician.
