3.Drain the fuel.
Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive under certain
conditions. Do not smoke or allow flames or sparks in the area.
a. Check that the oil filler cap is tightened securely.
b. Remove the fuel tank cap and drain the fuel into an approved
gasoline container by tipping the pump toward the fuel filler neck.
c. Press the priming pump several times until there is no more fuel in
the fuel return tube.
d. Tip the pump toward the fuel filler neck again to drain the fuel.
e. After all fuel has drained, reinstall the fuel tank cap securely.
