15. White balance adjustments
Input signal

Set service mode
****15-1. White balance adjustment-1 (Full lamp mode)
Input mode
Set data no. 930-0. Set data 10, when not "Selected."
Adjustments
Select data no. 910-7 or 910-11. By using Volume +,- but-
tons, adjust the white balance. Check the white balance is
not changing when changing the color of picture image from
MIN to MAX.

Input mode
Set data no. 930-0. Set data 10, when not "Selected."
Adjustments
Select data no. 900-7 or 900-11. By using Volume +,- but-
tons, adjust the white balance. Check the white balance is
not changing when changing the color of picture image from
MIN to MAX.
****15-3. White balance adjustment-3 (1&4 lamp mode)
Input mode
Set data no. 930-1 Set data 10, when not "Selected."
Adjustments
Select data no. 913-0 or 913-1. By using Volume +,- buttons,
adjust the white balance. Check the white balance is not
changing when changing the color of picture image from MIN
to MAX.
****15-4. White balance adjustment-4 (2&3 lamp mode)
Input mode
Set data no. 930-2. Set data 10, when not "Selected."
Adjustments
Select data no. 913-2 or 913-3. By using Volume +,- buttons,
adjust the white balance. Check the white balance is not
changing when changing the color of picture image from MIN
to MAX.
16. Correction of Uneven Color 1
When the white or gray picture projected is uneven in color, or
after the LCD panel is replaced, correct the unevenness of color as
follows.
(The Correction data is memorized in the IC891 and IC892 of the
Ass'y Main. If the IC891 and IC892 are replaced from the Ass'y
Main to the new one when replacing the Ass'y, color correction is
unnecessary.)
BEFORE OPERATION
1. Set both the Ceiling and the Rear function of the SETTING
menu on the ON-SCREEN menu to "Off."
2. When replacing 2 LCD panels or more, the Correction data
50% white signal

needs to be initialized.
Set the Data No. to "32-0" and Data value to "0009" in Service
mode by pressing VOLUME (+) button on the projector. And
then, press VOLUME (+) button again to initialize the
Correction data. (The each value of the correction data turns
into "32.")
CAUTION : Don't press VOLUME (-) button when the Data
No. is "32-0."
CONDITION FOR CORRECTION

1. Full lamp mode:
Set data no. 930-0. Set data 10, when not "Selected."
Set the data no. 32-0.
2. Press the Point (up) or (down) button on the projector, and the
pattern for correction of uneven color is displayed as follows.
3. Press the POINT UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT buttons on the
projector to move the WINDOW where to correct.
4. Adjust the White-Balance in the window on the screen with the
following control buttons.
Press the SELECT button on the projector to move the arrow
where( Red, Green or Blue ) to correct
Press the VOLUME (+) (-) buttons on the projector to adjust the
White Balance.
5. Press the MENU button on the projector to turn back to the
Service mode.
6. 1&4 lamp mode:
Set data no. 930-1. Set data 10, when not "Selected."
Set data no. to 34-0. Repeat steps 2 through 5 above.
7. 2&3 lamp mode:
Set data no. 930-2. Set data 10, when not "Selected."
Set data no. to 36-0. Repeat steps 2 through 5 above.
