You decide To only use heat when you need it - that must be close to ideal! Using your Zone Regulator, it is up to you how much heat you want in the house, where you want it and when. Your Zone Regulator allows you to set: •... -

Set up Before starting to use your Zone Regulator, you must choose a language, set the day of the week and set the clock. First, turn on the power. The display will be lit for two 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 seconds. -

Change day of the week, time or language Set the function selector on the clock. The clock symbol is shown in the display. Activate the day of the week. S U N D A Y Press until the required day is displayed. -

Setting of patterns of consumption You can set your Zone Regulator to match your needs. Think of place, time and heat: Place: Your rooms can be grouped into as many as six heat zones, e.g. all bedrooms, studies, lounges, etc. All rooms in a heat zone go by the same time programme. - Page 9 Important! When the function selector indicates the clock or a zone, the temperature is regulated on the basis of the pattern of consumption entered, e.g. heat zone 1. If you want to be able to see the time as a standard feature, set the function selector on the clock.

Changing pattern of consumption Select the heat zone (1-6) you wish to change. NB: At the works, all zones have been given heating periods from 6.00-9.00 and from 15.00-22.00 on all days of the week. Changing heating periods in a time programme You can always change heating periods to match the rhythm of your day. -

Grouping of days of the week in time programmes If your heating needs are not the same on all days of the week, you can make one or two extra time programmes for selected days. Select the time programme you wish to change (press at M T O T F L S least twice). -

General functions The symbols to the left of the clock are general functions that apply to all rooms in the house, regardless of the pattern of consumption. Changing of night-time temperature reduction You can change the night-time temperature reduction if you do not wish to have the setting made at the works (5 °C). Select night-time re- duction by means of the function selector. N I G H T - T I M E 7ªC NIGHT-TIME TEMP. - Page 20 General functions Selecting holiday temperature You can have a constant temperature in all rooms of the house, e.g. during a holiday period. NB: At the works, the holiday temperature has been set at 15 °C. Select holiday by means of the function selector.
- Page 21 Important! The holiday setting is cancelled if the function selector is moved away from the holiday symbol. If a number of days is selected, the Zone Regulator will revert to the normal pattern of consumption after counting down the days to 0. NB: The function selector will remain in the holiday setting even if the temperature is governed by the pattern of consumption.
