Timer recording standby (option)
On some models, Timer recording is an optional function. Only a
set with Timer recording can perform this function.
You can release or return to the timer recording standby mode
with this function.
If you want to use the VCR buttons or to play back tapes while the
timer programme is set for recording, press the TIMER REC
button to release the timer recording standby mode.
The TIMER REC indicator goes out and the VCR buttons can be
operated.
Press the TIMER REC button again to return to the timer recording
standby mode.
The TIMER REC indicator illuminates and the VCR buttons can
not be operated.
Showview (VIDEOplus
In the models with the Showview (VIDEOplus + ) function, you can
easily record a TV station. All you need to do is to look up the TV
station's Showview (VIDEOplus + ) code number, a number
assigned to each TV station that is published in the TV section of
most newspapers or TV magazine. You no longer have to go
through a lengthy procedure with start and stop times, programme
number and dates. Because the Showview (VIDEOplus + ) code
number contains all the information.

2. Enter a Showview (VIDEOplus + ) code number with the
NUMBER buttons.
