• Turn the switch to the desired power setting
(I-Low., II-High, II -High with Turbo) (fig.5).
• This model is equipped with a fast heating
system, for a rapid warming.
• To use in a conventional way, turn the
switch to one of the desired power setting (I-
Low or II-High).
• To use the turbo, turn the switch to position
II
(fig. 5).
• Turn the thermostat clockwise to its highest
setting for a rapid warming.
• When the room reaches a comfortable tem-
perature, turn the thermostat anticlockwise
until the heater switches off. At this setting,
the thermostat will automatically turn the
heater on (the pilot light illuminates) and off
(the pilot light goes out) to maintain the se-
lected temperature.
• To turn the heater off, turn the switch to the
(0) position and unplug it.
D) TIMER OPERATION
MODELS HZ-825TE
AND HZ-826FTE ONLY
• Follow the operating instructions under B)
and see Fig. 6 for the Model HZ-825TE.
• Follow the operating instructions under C)
and see Fig. 7 for the Model HZ-826FTE.
• In order to operate the convector without us-
ing the timer, place all timer pins in the
"ON" position (all pins close to the centre).

To set the timer:

• Put the "timer pins" the closest possible to
the centre of the timer.
• Turn the dial clock until it corresponds to the
actual time of day.
• Each pin corresponds to a period of 20
minutes.
• To program the time desired to maintain the
heater off, place the number of pins desired
away from the centre of the timer.
• To program the time desired to maintain the
heater On, place the number of pins de-
sired close to the centre.
• Over a period of 24 hours, you can set any
number of switching periods by pulling out
pins. For example see Fig. 8:
• Actual time: 9 p.m.
ENGLISH
- Switches on at 9 p.m. and remains on for
2 hours.
- Remains off from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Switches on at 6 a.m. and remains on for
3 hours.
- Switches off at 9 a.m.
- Switches on at 9 p.m.
- Until changed, the program will repeat
every 24 hours.
• To turn the heater off, turn the switch to the
(0) position and unplug it.

FROST PROTECTION

• The convector is equipped with anti-frost
function. Plug in the heater. Turn the switch
to I, II or III. Turn the thermostat anticlock-
wise to its lowest setting (d). As soon as the
room temperature is below + 6° C the
heater will automatically switch on.

AUTOMATIC SAFETY CUT-OUT

• This product is equipped with an automatic
safety cut-out. If the heater stops unexpect-
ed, the safety cut-out may have operated.
Once the safety cut has operated, the
heater will not restart until the heater has
been turned off and cooled down. In this sit-
uation, it is recommended turn the switch to
the (0) position and unplug it. Allow the
heater to cool. Plug the heater into a socket
and follow the "Operating Instructions".
IF THE HEATER FAILS
TO OPERATE
• Check for any obstructions and remove
them if needed.
• Check if the heater is in the right position
and if it is plugged in. Check if the electri-
cal socket-outlet is working.
• Make sure that the thermostat is not set too
low.
• With the switch set to one of the power set-
tings (I, II or III) turn the thermostat clockwise
until the heater restarts.
• If the heater still does not start please see
warranty for instructions.
