The chainsaw may come with plastic spacers over or around the bar studs - the spacer is for shipping purposes only and must be removed before mounting the chain bar. After every second or third sharpening, reset the cutter depth gauges. 1. Place the depth gauge tool (.025") firmly across the top of the two cutters.
