Storing your device for long periods of time

If you need to store your device for a long period of time, we
recommend following these guidelines:
• Charge your device to around 50%, then power down to avoid
additional battery use.
• DO NOT fully charge your device, if you store your device when
its battery is fully charged for an extended period of time, the
battery may lose some capacity, leading to shorter battery life.
• DO NOT fully drain your device, if you store your device when its
battery is fully discharged for an extended period of time, the
battery could fall into a deep discharge state, which renders it
incapable of holding a charge.
• Place your device in a cool and dry environment that is less than
90° F (32° C).
• If you store your device for longer than six months, charge its
battery to around 50% every six months.
• After removing your device from storage, it may require 20
minutes of charging with the original adapter before you can
use it.
