Nevertheless, we recommend that you carefully examine the packaging and its contents for any signs of physical damage, which may have occurred in transit .
  • Page 6 A balanced operation is defined as a two conductor shielded cable, where each of the two center conductors carry the same signal but of opposite phase. The have equal but inverted potential differences from that of ground. The advantage of the balanced system is based on the differential amplifier in a subsequent device suppressing all equal phased noise which has been induced during its transmission down the cable link.

    shield has to be connected on both ends. MAINS CONNECTION The mains connection of the WCR 35 is made by using a mains cable and a standard IEC receptacle. It meets all of the international safety certification requirements. Please make sure that all units have a proper ground connection. For your own safety, it is advisable not to remove the ground connection within the units or at the supply, or fail to make this connection at all.

    [3] RANGE switch Crossover frequencies from 80 to 900 Hz or 800 Hz to 9 kHz respectively are chosen by the RANGE switch. [4] LF /MF/ HF GAIN control Each band has it's own LF/HF GAIN ( +6 dB ) control to allow some fine-tuning of the system to give (usually) a flatter frequency response.
  • Page 9 TOOLBOX Reference PointMicrophone (RPM) Alignment should be carried out with a good quality microphone, with a flat response at least from 80 Hz to about 15 kHz, placed about 5 m in front of the speaker stack being tuned, and at a height mid-way between the drivers covering the two bands in question.
  • Page 10 the system to be tuned to a flat response. More laborious, but at least as accurate, would be to plot the response curve using a sweepable SWO. Both require a RPM . SPLAt RPM The RTA and SWO methods involve muting all but one band on one side, firing pink noise or the appropriate (X-over) frequency through the system at a comfortable level, and observing the SPL at the RPM.

Too much out-of-phase material can cause signals to reduce or even disappear in mono. When cutting onto vinyl, out-of-phase bass will cause the cutter to jump about wildly, resulting in a quiet cut .

No obstante, le recomendamos que examine cuidadosamente el paquete y su contenido por si detecta algún daño físico que haya podido ocurrir durante el transporte.
  • Page 18 ______________________________________________________________ Sistema Balanceado Un sistema balanceado, es definido por un cable de dos conductores con malla de masa, donde cada uno de los conductores lleva la misma señal pero en fase opuesta. Son iguales pero con una diferencia de potencias respecto a masa, inversa.
  • Page 19 ______________________________________________________________ CONEXIÓN DE ALIMENTACION Esta conexión se realiza a través de un cable estándar IEC que cumple los requisitos internacionales en certificación de seguridad. Asegúrese que la unidad dispone de la adecuada conexión de tierra. Para su seguridad, NO ELIMINE LACONEXION DE MASA DE LA UNIDAD O DE ALIMENTACION.

    ______________________________________________________________ (3) Conmutador de rango Las frecuencias de crossover van desde 80 a 900 Hz o desde 800 Hz a 9kHz y son elegidas mediante este conmutador. (4) Control de ganancia LF/MF/HF (Frecuencias graves, medias y agudas) Cada banda tiene su propio control de ganancia LF/MF/HF que permite un control mas afinado de la frecuencia de respuesta que llega, normalmente plano.

Con una respuesta plana al menos desde 80 Hz hasta aproximadamente 15 kHz, situado a unos 5 metros enfrente de los altavoces y a la altura de la vía de medios, mientras se cubren las dos bandas en cuestión.

SPL en RPM Los métodos RTA y SWO, significan dejar todas las bandas menos una en un lado en modo MUTE, encendiendo ruido rosa o la frecuencia apropiada a través del sistema hasta un nivel cómodo, y observando el SPL en el RPM.

In modo estéreo, el WCR35 puede llevar una señal mono adecuada para gobernar un sistema de sub-graves o mono-grave. Mientras elimina esas frecuencias procedentes de los monitores. Cuando se prepara una cinta master, deberíamos comprobar la compatibilidad mono, Demasiado salida de fase puede causar que la señal se reduzca o llegue a desaparecer en mono.
