CLEANING AND CARE

1. Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or
use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
2. All plastic parts should be cleaned immediately after contact with fats, spices,
vinegar and strongly flavored/colored foods. Avoid contact with acids citrus juices.
3. Always use the scale on a hard, flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
Eve n the batteries must be disposed o f in co mpliance wi th en vi ronmen tal
regula tions in force, at a co llecti on center author ized, or deposi ted in the
conta iners at the sto re where i t was purchased. Ba tteries should be re move d f rom
the de vice before its disposal. Do not d ispose of batter ies in household waste o r
da maged so as not to har m the en vi ronmen t
Batter ies must not be e xposed to heat sources such as heat , sun or similar
sources ;
Remo ve batter ies if the y s tart to heat up o r yo u kno w you do no t use the uni t for
a long period
- The ba tteries must be installed correctl y into the batte r y co mpart ment ;
- W hen you remo ve the ba tter y because at the end of l ife or da maged Dispose
of b atteries according to nat ional regulati ons and belo w.
- In case of loss of batter y fluid , re mo ve all batt eries , preve nt ing an y leakage
fro m co ming into con tact with ski n or clo thing. If f luid f rom the batter y comes
in to contact wi th sk in or c lothing , wash the skin with water immed iatel y. Before
inser ting ne w batt eries , thoroughl y clean the ba tter y co mpart ment wi th a da mp
paper to we l , or follo w the batter y manuf acturer 's reco mmendat ions for
clean ing.

I mproper use of ba tteries ma y cause leakage, o ve rheating or esp losione. Tale

To reduce the risk of in jur y :
● Keep ba tteries out of the reach o f children.
● Do not heat , open , puncture , mu tilate , or d ispose of ba tter ies in fire.
● Do not mi x old and ne w batter ies or ba tteries of dif ferent t ypes
● Do not place metal objects that can co me in to contact wi th the ter mina ls of
the
batt er y and can hea t up and / or cause b
