Faults – what to do?
Before you call customer service, use this table to check whether you can rectify the
d o ?
F a u l t s – w h a t t o
fault yourself.
Temperature differs greatly from the set value.
Displays do not illuminate.
The mains plug has not been inserted properly.
The fuse has tripped.
The power has failed.
Display flashes.
The temperature in the freezer compartment was
too warm.
Appliance is not cooling, display and light are lit.
Demo mode switched on.
Display flashes, warning signal sounds and button "alarm" is lit.
Appliance door is open.
Ventilation openings have been covered.
Large quantities of fresh food were placed in the
appliance.

Switch off appliance for 5 minutes.

If the temperature is too warm, check temperature
again after a couple of hours.
If the temperature is too cold, check temperature
again on the following day.
Connect the mains plug.
Check the fuses.
Check whether the power is on.
When button "alarm" has been pressed, the warm-
est temperature reached in the freezer compartment
is displayed for 5 seconds. Press the "alarm" but-
ton. The display stops flashing.
Hold down button "alarm" for 10 seconds until an
acknowledgement signal sounds. Wait and check
whether the appliance is cooling.
Press the "alarm" button. Alarm is switched off.
Close the appliance door.
Clear ventilation openings.
Do not exceed max. freezing capacity.
