• Remove the right handle retaining ring top torx screw, this doubles as the cord reel top
retainer.
• Remove 1 torx screw forward of the cord release pedal.
• Lift out the cord reel assembly remembering that the top handle retaining ring screw
boss needs to clear the base assembly.
• Disconnect the electrical leads.
Note: When reinstalling any electrical components, make sure you reference the correct
wiring diagram. After any rewiring, it is also necessary to route all wiring back into the
proper retaining clips and/or holders.
• Reconnect the electrical leads.
• Reassemble in reverse order.
