UTILIZZO
Il contatto della mototrivella in rotazione con oggetti
estranei presenti nel terreno e il conseguente
rallentamento o arresto della mototrivella può generare
forze reattive di rotazione. Il trasferimento di tali forze
può indurre la rotazione improvvisa del motore e delle
impugnature in senso antiorario e determinare la perdita
di controllo o far sì che l'impugnatura urti violentemente
l'operatore e lo getti a terra con il rischio di lesioni gravi.
ATTENZIONE! - Durante il lavoro entrambi gli operatori
devono tenere saldamente, con tutte e due le mani, le
rispettive impugnature per riuscire ad opporre una buona
resistenza nel caso in cui la punta della mototrivella
incontri un ostacolo nel terreno (sassi, radici, ecc.).
ATTENZIONE! - Seguire sempre le norme di sicurezza. La
mototrivella deve essere utilizzata solamente per
effettuare perforazioni del terreno. Non perforare asfalto,
cemento o altri materiali lapidei. È proibito applicare alla
presa di forza della mototrivella utensili o applicazioni
che non siano quelli indicati dal costruttore. Non utilizzare
la macchina come leva per sollevare, spostare o spezzare
oggetti, ne bloccarla su sostegni fissi.
USI VIETATI
- La mototrivella deve essere impiegata da due operatori; non
è ammesso sostituire il secondo operatore con un sostegno o
supporto.
- Non utilizzare la mototrivella per spostare, rimuovere, impastare
o miscelare materiali sciolti.
- Non utilizzare la mototrivella su terreni in cui siano presenti
sostanze chimiche in genere, materiali tossici o particolarmente
polverosi.
- Non utilizzare la mototrivella come miscelatore per liquidi, in
particolare se sono abrasivi, corrosivi o infiammabili.
- Non utilizzare la mototrivella per frantumare rifiuti, manufatti,
materiali edilizi.
- Nell'utilizzo della mototrivella fare attenzione alla presenza
nel terreno di cavi o tubi, reti fognarie, manufatti in cemento,
impianti di irrigazione.
- Nell'utilizzo della mototrivella fare attenzione alla presenza nel
terreno di cavi, metallici e non, o reti metalliche che potrebbero
impigliarsi nella punta.
- Non utilizzare la mototrivella come verricello o per avvolgere funi
o cavi.
- Non utilizzare la mototrivella su materiali fragili che possono
spezzarsi proiettando pezzi all'intorno.
- Non utilizzare la mototrivella per praticare fori in muri,
staccionate, ecc.; non utilizzarla su materiali legnosi o su asfalto.
- La perforazione del ghiaccio richiede punte apposite; se si tenta
questa operazione valutare MOLTO ATTENTAMENTE la resistenza
del ghiaccio.
- Porre molta attenzione a praticare fori in prossimità di fossi,
pareti scoscese, o comunque altri fori nel terreno che potrebbero
franare in seguito alla lavorazione con la mototrivella.
- Porre molta attenzione a praticare fori in prossimità di muri,
pali, alberi o manufatti che potrebbero cadere o franare se la
lavorazione con la mototrivella toglie loro materiale di sostegno.
- Non praticare fori in corrispondenza di argini o comunque
manufatti di contenimento di liquidi; rischio di fuoriuscita del
liquido.
- La mototrivella deve essere usata solo da operatori con un solido
e stabile appoggio su terreno; non deve mai essere utilizzata se
gli operatori si trovano su scale, sostegni, piani rialzati o simili;
rischio di perdita di stabilità.

USE
Striking a hard object in the earth with the turning auger
and the resulting slowing or stopping of the auger creates
reactive forces. The transfer of rotational (reactive) forces
can cause the auger powerhead and handles to rotate
suddenly in a counterclockwise direction and can result
in loss of control or cause the handle frame to hit the
operator or throw him to the ground, resulting in serious
injury.
WARNING! – While working, both operators must hold the
respective handgrips firmly with both hands to be able
to oppose good resistance in case the auger bit strikes an
obstacle in the ground (stones, tree roots, etc.).
WARNING - Always follow the safety rules. The earth
augers must only be used to drill ground. Do not drill into
asphalt, concrete or other stone materials. It is forbidden
to apply tools or applications other than the ones
indicated by the manufacturer onto the p.t.o. of the earth
augers. Do not use the machine as a lever to lift, move or
break objects, nor clamp it on fixed supports.
PROHIBITED USE
- The earth auger must be used by two operators; it is prohibited
to replace the second operator with a prop or support.
- Do not use the earth auger to move, remove or mix loose
materials.
- Do not use the earth auger on ground where there are chemicals
in general, toxic substances or particularly dusty materials.
- Do not use the earth auger as a mixer for liquids, particularly if
they are abrasive, corrosive or inflammable.
- Do not use the earth auger to break up waste, garden features or
building materials.
- When using the earth auger be alert for underground cables or
pipes, water systems, concrete ornaments and sprinkler systems.
- When using the earth auger be alert for underground cables,
metal or otherwise, or metal grills that may get caught in the
auger bit.
- Do not use the earth auger as a winch or for winding ropes or
cables.
- Do not use the earth auger on fragile materials that may break,
throwing pieces all around.
- Do not use the earth auger to drill holes in walls, fencing, etc.; do
not use it on wooden materials or asphalt.
- Breaking ice requires specific auger bits; if attempting this
operation, first ascertain the strength of the ice VERY CAREFULLY.
- Exercise extreme caution when drilling holes near to ditches,
steep earth banks or other holes in the ground that could
collapse as a result of working with the earth auger.
- Exercise extreme caution when drilling holes near to walls, posts,
trees or garden features that could fall or collapse if the earth
auger removes their supporting material.
- Do not drill holes near to river banks or garden features
containing liquids; risk of liquid escaping.
- The earth auger must only be used by operators with a solid
and stable footing on the ground; it must never be used if the
operators are standing on steps, supports, raised platforms or
similar; risk of losing stability.

UTILISATION
Si la tarière entre en contact avec des corps étrangers
présents dans le terrain, elle commencera à ralentir ou
pourra même s'arrêter et engendrer des forces réactives
de rotation. De telles forces peuvent brusquement faire
tourner le moteur et les poignées dans le sens inverse
des aiguilles d'une montre. L'opérateur risque de perdre
le contrôle de la machine et la poignée peut le heurter
violemment, le jeter au sol avec le risque de le blesser
grièvement.
ATTENTION - Durant le travail, les deux opérateurs doivent
tenir fermement la propre poignée des deux mains pour
réussir à fournir toute la résistance nécessaire au cas où le
foret de la tarière rencontrerait un obstacle dans le terrain
(pierre, racines, etc..).
ATTENTION - Respectez toujours les réglements de
sécurité. La tarière ne doit être utilisée que pour perforer
le terrain. Ne pas perforer l'asphalte, le ciment ou
d'autres matériaux pierreux. Il est interdit d'appliquer
à la prise de force de la tarière, des équipements ou des
applications qui ne correspondent pas à ceux qu'a indiqué
le constructeur. Ne pas utiliser la machine pour soulever
quoi que ce soit, déplacer ou casser des objets, et ne pas
la bloquer sur des supports fixes.
USAGES INTERDITS
- La tarière exige la présence de deux opérateurs ; il est interdit de
remplacer le deuxième opérateur par un support ou un soutien.
- Ne pas utiliser la tarière pour déplacer, retirer malaxer ou
mélanger des matériaux dissous.
- Ne pas utiliser la tarière sur des terrains présentant
des substances chimiques, des matériaux toxiques ou
particulièrement poussiéreux.
- Ne pas utiliser la tarière pour mélanger des liquides, surtout s'ils
sont abrasifs, corrosifs ou inflammables.
- Ne pas utiliser la tarière pour broyer des déchets, des objets
manufacturés ou des matériaux de construction.
- Lors de l'utilisation de la tarière, s'assurer que le terrain ne cache
pas de câbles ou de tuyaux, de lignes d'égouts, d'ouvrages en
ciment ou d'installations d'irrigation.
- Lors de l'utilisation de la tarière, s'assurer que le terrain ne cache
pas de câbles métalliques ou autres ou de treillis métalliques qui
pourraient emprisonner le foret.
- Ne pas utiliser la tarière comme treuil ou pour enrouler des
cordes ou des câbles.
- Ne pas utiliser la tarière sur des matériaux fragiles qui pourraient
s'émietter en projetant des morceaux tout autours.
- Ne pas utiliser la tarière pour percer des murs, des clôtures, etc... ;
ne pas l'utiliser sur du bois ou du goudron.
- Pour forer la glace, prévoir des forets spéciaux ; avant de
procéder à ce genre d'opération, calculer TRÈS ATTENTIVEMENT
la résistance de la glace.
- Faire très attention avant d'intervenir à proximité de bas-côtés
ou de terrains en pente ou près d'autres trous déjà présents sur
le terrain et qui pourraient s'effondrer à la suite de l'intervention
avec la tarière.
- Faire très attention avant de pratiquer des trous à proximité de
murs, arbres ou ouvrages qui pourraient tomber ou s'effondrer si
l'intervention de la tarière ôte leur support.
- Ne pas forer aux abords des talus ou de tout ouvrage de
confinement de liquides : le liquide risquerait de déborder.
- L'usage de la tarière est réservé à des opérateurs pouvant
disposer d'un appui stable sur le terrain ; ne pas l'utiliser sur une
échelle, toute sorte de support ou rehaussements où la stabilité
est en jeu.
