Troubleshooting

Whenever the appliance fails to work, check for a solution from the following list before calling for Technical
Assistance Centre.
Some problems are indicated by specific indicator lights flash on the control panel: make a note of any indicator
lights flashes before calling Assistance.
Malfunction:
The dishwasher does not start.
No water enters the dishwasher.
No water drains out from the
dishwasher.
The dishwasher makes
excessive noise.
The dishes and glasses are
covered in a white film or
limescale deposits.
The dishes and glasses are
streaked or have a bluish
tinge.
The crockery has not been dried
properly.
The dishes are not clean.
Shut off tap alarm.

Possible causes / Solutions:
• The plug has no t bee n inser te d in to the elec trical sock et
properly , or th ere is no powe r in the hou se.
• The dishwa sher door has not been shut pro perly.
• A delayed start has been programmed (see Start-up and use).
• The re is no wa ter in the mains supply.
• The water inlet hose is bent (see Installation).
• The dishwa sher cy cle ha s no t y et finishe d.
• The w a ter o utle t ho se is bent ( see Ins tallation ).
• The drain duct is bloc ke d.
• The filter is clo gged up w ith foo d re sidue s.
• The dishes are ra ttlin g again st each o the r o r a gain s t the
s pray er a rm s .
• The lev el o f the refined salt is low o r the do sage se tting is no t
s uite d to the ha rdne ss o f the w ater (se e Rinse aid a nd salt).
• The lid on the salt dispense r is not close d properly .
• The rin se a id h as been use d up or the dosa ge is too low.
• The croc kery is ma de from non-s tick ma terial.
• The rin se a id do sa ge is too high .
• The rin se a id h as been use d up or the dosa ge is too low ( see
R ins e aid an d salt).
• The rin se a id dis pens er setting is not high en ou gh .
• A w ash c ycle w ithout a drying p ro gra mm e has been s elec ted.
• The rac ks a re ove rloa de d (see Lo ading the rack s).
• The croc kery ha s not been ar ranged well.
• The s pra yer ar ms ca nnot mo ve freely .
• The w ash c ycle is to o gen tle (see Wa sh cycle s ).
• The de te rgen t ha s no t been meas ure d out c or rec tly or it is no t
s uite d to the type o f wash c ycle (see Sta rt-up an d use ).
• The filter is dirty or blocke d (see Ca re and m ain tena nce ).
• The re fine d salt leve l is low (see Rin se aid and s alt).
• Tu rn on the tap and the appliance will s tart after a fe w
m inute s.
• The appliance lock has been ac tiv ated because no ac tio n was
ta ken when the beeps s oun de d. Sw itch o ff the m achin e using
the ON /OFF button , turn on the ta p and switch the mach ine
bac k on afte r 20 s econ ds by pressing th e same bu tton . Re-
program me the ma chine and
res ta rt the wa sh cy cle .
• Switch off th e mach ine by pres sin g the ON/OFF bu tton and
clean the filter s ( see M ain tenance ), then switch the
dishwasher bac k on by pressin g the sam e bu tton . Re-
program me the ma chine and re s tart the wash cycle.
• Switch off th e a pplianc e by pre ssing th e ON/OFF bu tton an d
s witch it bac k on a fter a m inu te . If the alarm con tin ues, tu rn
o ff the wa ter tap to reduce the risk o f floodin g, remove th e
plu g fr om the e lec trical soc ket and call Assis tance.
