Gasoline engine M 157 AMG
The AMG version of the G-Class features an oval,
chrome-plated dual-flow exhaust system on the left
and right, which is country-specific. It demonstrates
the power of the G-Class both visibly and audibly.
The exhaust system is a continuous twin-pipe system
and has a pipe cross-section of 70 mm.

The new firewall catalytic converter is equipped with
two flow-optimized thin-wall ceramic catalytic
converters with AMG-specific monolith coating. The
rear muffler has been adapted to the new exhaust
system both in terms of its external geometry and
internal design.
