Pet Fountain Disassembly & Cleaning Important: Pet Fountain must be cleaned to continue working normally. CHARCOAL FILTERS: Change every 2 to 4 weeks. Charcoal Filters should be changed every two to four weeks. Replace the filters more frequently when using the Pet Fountain for multiple pets or pets that produce a lot of saliva. -

6. Once the Pump is disassembled you can clean the parts with warm soapy water. Use a cotton Fig. 17 swab or the “motor” brush from the Drinkwell Cleaning Kit to get into the Pump’s motor cavity and remove any build-up. For added disinfecting and hard water removal, clean the Pump with white vinegar. -
