INSTALLING
THE REFRIGERATOR
REFRIGERATOR LOCATION
• Do not install the refrigerator where the temperature will
go below 60°F(16°C)because it will not run often enough
to maintain proper temperatures.
• Do not install the refrigerator where the temperature will
go above 100°F(37°C)because it will not perform properly.
• Install it on a floor strong enough to support it fully loaded.
CLEARANCES
Allow the following clearances for ease of installation, proper
air circulation and plumbing and electrical connections.
Sides
1/8" (3 mm)
Top
1"(25 mm) Cabinet/Hinge Cover
Back
2" (% mm)
REMOVING THE REFRIGERATOR DOORS
IMPORTANT NOTE: T his refrigerator is 555/8"deep.
Doors and passageways leading to the installation
locution must be at leust 56" wide in order to leuve
the doors and handles attached to the refrigerator
while transporting it into the installotion locution.
If passageways are lessthan 36", the refrigerator
doors und hundles cun eusily be scrutched and dumuged.
The top cap and doors cun be removed to ullow the
refrigerutor to be safely moved indoors. If passugeways are
lessthen 31", the leveling legs must be removed as
well. Start with Step 1.
• If it is not necessaryto remove doors, skip to Step 11. Leave
tape und all pack%ing on doors until the refrigerator is in the
final location.
• NOTE:Use a padded hand truck to move this refrigerator.
Plucethe refrigerutor on the hund truck with a side
%ainst the truck. We strongly recommend that
TWO PEOPLE move and complete this instullation.

REMOVE THE FRESH FOOD
DOOR HANDLE
Handle Design varies based on models, however
Installation is same.
Stainlesssteel and plastic handles:
O Loosen the set screws with the 1/8" Allen wrench and
remove the hundle.
NOTE: I fthe handlemountingfastenersneedto be tightenedor
removed, use a 1/4" Allen wrench.

REMOVE THE FREEZERDOOR HANDLE

Installation is same.
Stdnless steel and plastic bundles:
Loosen the set screws with the !/8" Allen wrench qnd remove the
handle.
NOTE: I fthe handlemountingfastenersneedto be tichtenedor
removed, use a !/4" Allen wrench.
Mounting
Fasteners

Leave film
on until after
installation
Reinstall the handles using the same
procedure
as removing.
