Trip Computer functions in detail
1 Average speed
Average speed based on distance traveled since the memory was last reset using reset button B.
2 Current fuel consumption
Gives information about current fuel consumption, updated every second. It is calculated from the
amount of fuel injected and the distance traveled.
If the vehicle is standing still (as at a stop sign or traffic signal), the display will show "---".
3 Average fuel consumption
Average fuel consumption from when the Trip Computer memory was last reset using reset button B.
4 Ambient temperature
Indicates the temperature of the outside air (only accurate while driving) approx. 16 inches (40 cm)
above road surface.
The warning function comes on if the ambient temperature is between 23°F to 36°F (-5°C and + 2°C) to
warn you that there might be ice on the road.
The temperature and the frost symbol will be shown in the display.
If another function is selected the frost symbol will still be shown in the display.
5 Tripmeter
Shows, in 0.1 mile (0.16 km) increments, distance traveled since last reset. After 999 miles, the display
shows 1-mile (1.6 km) increments.
7 Range left before tank is empty
Shows the distance you can travel using the fuel you have left in the tank, based on fuel consumption in
the last 10 miles (16 km).
