Page 27 5. Connection/disconnection of the cutting unit Move the lever forward to connect the drive to the cutting unit, whereby the drive belt is tensioned and the blades begin to rotate. If the lever is moved backwards the drive will be disconnected and the rotation of the blades slowed down by the action of the brake shoes on the pulley.
