SECTION 12: GAS PIPING

WARNING
Fire Hazard
Tighten gas line fittings to connect gas supply
according to Figure 32.
Flex gas line can crack when twisted.
Gas line moves during normal operation.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death,
injury or property damage.
It is important that the gas supply pipe and the electrical
connections do not support any of the heater's weight.
A gas meter is connected to the service pipe by the Gas
Supply Company. An existing meter should be checked,
preferably by the Company to ensure that the meter is
adequate to deal with the rate of gas supply required.
