power
passes through an IEC-standard
mains
connector
and an
RF
filter
designed
to
meet
the
standards

The power
cord

terminated

a
"U-Ground"
plug
(USA
standard), or
CEE7/7
plug
(Continental Europe),
as
appropriate
to
your
unit's
Model
Number. The
green
(or
green/yellow)
wire
is
connected
directly
to the
Co-Operator
chassis.
If
you need
to
change
the
plug
to
meet
your
country's standard
and you
are qualified
to
do
so,
see
Fig 2-2
on page
2-6.
Otherwise, purchase
a
new
mains cord
with
the correct
plug
attached.
WARNING
If
the
ground
is
defeated,
certain
fault
conditions
in
the
unit
or
in
the
system
to
which
it
is
connected
can
result
in full
line
voltage
between
chassis
and
earth
ground.
Severe
injury
or
death
can
then
result
if
the
chassis
and
earth
ground
are
touched
simultaneously.
