7.1.7 HOW TO UPDATE THE FLASH ROMS FOR VARIOUS MICROCOMPUTERS

HDMI, MAIN and DSP microcomputer
A
[Purpose]
Refer to this section when updating of a Flash ROM is required by the service information, etc.
[Tools to be used]
• PC with a serial port
• RS-232C cable (cf. following note)
• Program for updating (ufu.exe)
Note;
Please use a RS-232C cable properly as follows.
For updating HDMI microcomputer
--> straight cable (PC terminal-9pin male) [Connections A]

For updating MAIN microcomputer or DSP microcompute
--> cross cable (PC terminal-25pin female) [Connections B]
