7. GENERAL INFORMATION

7.1 DIAGNOSIS

7.1.1 TEST MODE

Version indication
[Purpose]
The versions for various microcomputers and DSP firmware are displayed.
[How to enter/exit]
During Standby mode, simultaneously press and hold the STANDBY/ON and MULTI CH IN keys for 5 seconds to
enter this mode. This mode is automatically exited when the indications of all versions have finished.

Dx.xxx : DSP microcomputer
Hx.xxx : HDMI microcomputer
fx.xxx : 1st DSP firmware

Normal display
[Notes]
1. If the version indication becomes "**," a failure in communications between the corresponding microcomputers or
a failure in the corresponding microcomputers is likely.
2. In this submode, the user settings will not be cleared.
3. If the USB firmware version indication becomes "**," return the unit to Normal mode, switch Function to USB, then
reenter Test mode and check the USB firmware version. If the indication becomes "**" again, communication
between the main microcomputer and the USB firmware is in failure.
