Magnetic Field Use
cryogenic use from 1.4 K to above room temperature.
T ≥ 60 K & B ≤ 3 T
Diodes are economical to use because they follow
a standard curve and are interchangeable in many
T ≥ 60 K & B ≤ 3 T
applications. They are not suitable for use in ionizing
T ≥ 60 K & B ≤ 3 T
radiation or magnetic fields.
T ≥ 60 K & B ≤ 3 T
T ≥ 60 K & B ≤ 3 T
Cernox™ thin-film RTDs offer high sensitivity and
T ≥ 60 K & B ≤ 3 T
low magnetic field-induced errors over the 2 K to
T > 4.2 K & B ≤ 5 T
420 K temperature range. Cernox sensors require
T > 4.2 K & B ≤ 5 T
calibration.
T > 4.2 K & B ≤ 5 T
Platinum RTDs offer high uniform sensitivity from
T > 40 K & B ≤ 2.5 T
30 K to over 800 K. With excellent reproducibility,
T > 40 K & B ≤ 2.5 T
they are useful as thermometry standards. They
T > 77 K & B ≤ 8 T
follow a standard curve above 70 K and are
T > 77 K & B ≤ 8 T
interchangeable in many applications.
T > 2 K & B ≤ 19 T
T > 2 K & B ≤ 19 T
T > 2 K & B ≤ 19 T
T > 2 K & B ≤ 19 T
