Transmitting
MIDI
message
from
the
Composer
The
MIDI
message
sent
from
the
Composer
is
received
by
the
connected instrument
and makes
the keys
produce
sounds.
There
are
two
kinds
of
assignments
optional
as
shown
in
the
Fig
d—
1
or
2
below.
The
following operation
is
to
choose one
of
them.
®
Enter the Track
Playing
mode,
without
rhythm
running.
Then
while holding the
Shift
Key
®
down,
push
the
MIDI
Channel button
®
and
the
Instrument/Guide Button
®
Turn
the
TR-727to
the
Key
message
transmitting
mode.
(Each
time
you
push
the
Instrument
Guide
Button, the
TR-727
is
turned to the
internal
voice
mode
and Key message
transmitting
mode
alternately.)
NOTE
*
When
the
Composer
is
transmitting
MIDI
mes-
sage,
the
built-in
voices
do
not output any sound.
*
The Key
message
transmitting
mode
is
available
only while
in
the
Track
Play
mode.
In
this
mode,
only the
programmed
sounds
will
be
transmitted.
