15. Detach the right seat hanger from the swing joint pivot,
slide the mobile toy bracket whilst depressing the
button on the seat hanger so that the bracket will
insert onto the seat hanger. Once the bracket is on,
re-attach the seat hanger onto the swing joint.
Place the mobile toy set into the bracket.
16. The swing requires 4 "D" size batteries. Old and new
batteries should not be mixed. Alkaline, standard
carbon-zinc, and rechargeable nickel- cadmium batteries
should not be mixed. Remove batteries before putting
the swing into storage for a prolonged period of time. To
open the battery compartment door, insert a small coin
or blade of a medium size screwdriver into the slot on
the battery door. Press inward until the battery door is
released. Swing the battery door open and set aside.
Insert the batteries as shown. If batteries are installed
incorrectly,. Replace the battery compartment door
ensuring that it snaps closed. Please note batteries
are not included.
Using the Swing
Latching and unlatching the Tray:
1. The tray is designed so that it may be swung open to
allow for easier placement of your child in the swing. To
open the tray, pull outward on the tabs located on the left
side of the tray and lift upward.
2. To latch the tray in the down position, simply swing the
tray downward until it contacts the armrest of the swing.
Press down on the tray until it snaps closed.
Warning: The tray is not designed to hold the infant in the
swing. Always use the safety harness provided. Be careful
that the baby's hands or arms do not get pinched when
closing or latching the tray. Always close the tray when the
baby is in the swing.

4. Connect the upper cross bar to the legs by
sliding the upper cross bar from the top of the
legs downwards. You will need to depress,
with your finger, the buttons located near the
top of the legs in order to slide the lower cross
bar downward. The upper cross bar is held in
place by the buttons several inches above the
lower cross bar.
5. Attach the motor joint "A" to the side leg. The
motor joint will be heavier and has the controls
for the music and speed on the outside.
Ensure that the button securely attaches the
motor joint to the leg.
6. Attach the swing joint to the "B" side leg.
Ensure that the button securely attaches the
swing joint to the leg.
7. The seat must now be connected to the seat
hangers. Push the seat back rest forward
such that the flange on the backrest slides
over the arm rests of the seat. You may have
to move the seat fabric slightly to mate the
seatback with the armrest. You must hold the
seat in this position until the "B" seat hanger
is inserted in the step following.
