• Share shot: Send a photo directly to another device via Wi-Fi Direct.
• Buddy photo share: Set the device to recognize a person's face that you have tagged in a
photo and send it to that person.
Configuring settings for Camera
Tap to configure settings for Camera. Not all of the following options are available in both
still camera and video camera modes. The available options vary depending on the mode
used.
• Photo size / Video size: Select a resolution. Use higher resolution for higher quality. But
the file requires more storage space.
• Burst shot: Take a series of photos in rapid succession by holding the shutter button
• Tap to take pics: Tap the image on the preview screen to take photos.
• Face detection: Set the device to recognize and focus on people's faces. Detected faces
are indicated by a green rectangular outline.
• Metering modes: Select a metering method. This determines how light is measured.
Centre-weighted measures light over the entire area, with emphasis on the centre of
the scene. Spot measures the light at the centre of the screen only. Matrix averages the
entire scene.
• ISO: Select an ISO value. This controls the sensitivity of the light meter. It is measured
in film-camera equivalents. Use a lower ISO number to make your camera less sensitive
to light, a higher ISO number to take photos with less light, or Auto to let the camera
automatically adjust the ISO for each of your shots.
• Smart stabilisation: Set the device to automatically detect darker conditions and adjust
the brightness of the photo without using the flash.
• Save as: Set the device to save both the rich tone photo and original photo, or only the
rich tone photo.
• Video stabilisation: Activate or deactivate anti-shake. Anti-shake reduces blurring due to
mevement of the camera.
