Home screen

The Home screen is the starting point to access all of the device's features. It displays indicator
icons, widgets, shortcuts to applications, and more.
The Home screen has two different kinds of panels. The Magazine panel displays Magazine
widgets and the Standard panel displays shortcuts to applications and widgets.
The Home screen can have multiple panels. To view other panels, scroll left or right.
Rearranging widgets on the Magazine panels
Adding a new panel
Pinch on the screen and tap

Adding a Magazine widget
Pinch on the Magazine panel, select a panel preview at the top of the screen, and then select
a Magazine widget to add to the panel. You can add up to 6 Magazine widgets to a panel.
Moving a Magazine widget
Tap and hold a Magazine widget, drag it to a new location, resize it by dragging the frame if
necessary, and then tap
to save the location of the Magazine widget.
Removing a Magazine widget
Tap and hold a Magazine widget, and drag it to the trash can that appears at the top of the
Home screen. When the trash can turns red, release the item.
Rearranging items on the Standard panels
Adding Standard panels to the Home screen
On the Home screen, tap
, tap and hold an application icon, and then drag it into a panel
preview. A Standard panel is added to the Home screen automatically.
Using widgets
Widgets are small applications that provide convenient functions and information on your
Home screen. To use them, add widgets from the widgets panel to the Home screen.
