will require noise protection (e.g. wearing of ear protectors).

Operating range

This Blower/Vacuum device must only be used to
blow away or vacuum dry and light materials as e.g.
dry leaves, small branches, and pieces of paper. The
vacuuming of heavy materials as e.g. metal, stones, big
branches and broken glass is expressively excluded.
Assembly instructions
The suction/blowing pipes must be assembled be-
fore the machine is used.
Fit the guiding grooves in the suction pipe upper sec-
tion 5 and lower section one on top of the other.
Push two sections firmly together until the clip in the
moulding engages.
Undo 2 screws A to the place where the suction/
blowing pipe can not reach (Fig. 2).
Slide the suction/blowing pipe into motor housing 6.
Undo 4 screws A and B. The screws B are enclosed
in the accessories. and make sure the suction/blow-
ing pipes are firmly closed with the motor housing
(Fig. 3).
Attach the Vacuum bag to the hook on the suction/
blowing pipes (Fig. 4).
Put the rotating joint of the collecting bag onto the
ejection pipe at the motor housing. By turning the
joint clockwise (about 2cm) the collecting bag will
lock into place. To remove the collecting bag turn the

rotating joint anti-clockwise by about 3cm and pull
the bag off (Fig. 5). Then attach the shoulder strap to
the provided eyelet.
Telescopic extension
This device offers the possibility to adjust the length of
the suction/blowing pipe to adapt it to the height of the
operator. To do so proceed as follows:
Slide the locking button B (Fig. 13) in the direction of the
arrow. The pipe extension is now unlocked. Now pull the
lower end of the pipe as far as it will go (about 6cm) and
lock the pipe again with locking button B.
Caution: In the interests of safety, the pipes
should not be dismantled after they have been
assembled.
Never operate the tool without the pipe com-
pletely assembled and fixed by screws.
Operation
Before starting
Before starting the machine, make sure that the waste
bag is fitted and the shoulder strap is adjusted to a suit-
able working position.
Cable connection (Fig. 2)
Attach the extension to one side of the cable hook as
shown in Fig. 2.
