Feature Changes – Door Switches Signature Refresh
With the new models of LG Refrigerators, there is a new
design Door Switch being used. This new Door Switch
employs an internal reed switch and magnets in the door
to operate. Therefore, there is nothing protruding, as seen
in the previous design.
▶ We have seen multiple cases where the Door Switches
are not reconnected after the Door was removed for
installation. We feel that since there is no aspect of the
Door Switch seen externally, it may be easy to neglect.
▶ Please make sure that the Door Switches are reconnected
at the time of installation.
