the Uponor Snow Melt Control (A9013051). The Snow Melt Control, which
wires to the main control panel using a Cat5 cable and RJ45 ends for simple
and easy connections, can plug into any port other than what is reserved
for boiler connection. This basic snow-melt package allows for slab sensing
to control the slab temperature for melting. (See Figure 4-14.) An active
red LED is included on the snow-melt control to indicate when the area is
heating. A manual button is also included to start a melting cycle if the idle
feature is not used. Terminals are optional when a remote-mounted switch or
button is required outside of the mechanical room or area.
